Reflexology

What is Reflexology

Reflexology has been practiced as far back as 2330 B.C. by the Egyptian culture.  It is the science that subscribes to the idea that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body.  By stimulating these reflexes correctly(I have found using my hands is the most effective way) it can have a powerful effect on many emotional and health problems.

Most doctors agree that over 75% of our health problems are linked to nervous stress and tension.  Reflexology can improve nerve and blood supply and can balance the body mentally and physically.

Using essential oils in conjunction with reflexology can provide wonderful benefits.

I have used Reflexology techniques on my clients for stress relief, headaches, back aches, chest congestion, etc.  But remember, this is something you can do on yourself and your loved ones.  You don’t have to pay anyone to treat you(unless you just enjoy someone else rubbing your hands and feet)! Adding essential oils to the treatment adds to the results. For example:  If I have a headache, I grab the peppermint, put a drop on each temple, across the forehead and then on the end of each toe, especially the big toe. (You can also put the peppermint oil on the end of the fingers, especially the thumb) I rub the end of my toes with the thumb and forefinger.  It has relieved my headache every time!  Below are two great links to interactive hand and foot reflexology charts.
