Peppermint Essential Oil

Just a few things you can do with peppermint essential oil:

Energy:  diffuse 15 drops in your diffuser for energy and mental clarity OR put a couple of drops on the back of your neck and rub in.  Headaches:  put a couple of drops on the temples(far back into the hairline), forehead(on top away from eyes), back of the neck(make sure to stay far away from the eyes…it will burn)  Indigestion/appetite suppressant:  Put a couple of drops on your tongue and swallow or add a couple of drops to a tea and drink it.  You can also put a couple of drops on your tummy/navel area and rub in.  Anti-inflammatory:  Use a couple of drops on tense or sore muscles.  Fever Reducer:  Rub a couple of drops on the bottom of your feet to reduce fever.

PRECAUTIONS:  It’s always best to test a drop of a therapeutic grade essential oil under your arm where the skin is tender before using it, for any adverse reaction. If ANY oil burns your skin, always dilute it with oil(olive oil will do) NOT WATER.  Water will only spread it around.   DO NOT APPLY TO INFANTS UNDER 18 MONTHS OLD.  DO NOT APPLY TO OPEN CUTS, WOUNDS OR BURNS.  Basically just remember it would be like putting IcyHot on you.  So if you use your finger and rub your eyes, it won’t be pleasant!

These are just a few things you can do with peppermint.  There’s ton’s more….peppermint makes a great foot bath for tired feet, stops bad breath putting a couple of drops on tongue, removes ticks, deters rats, ants, etc, kills aphids from house plants.
